Participation in practice

Participation is a human right. But sometimes we all have difficulties knowing how to start implementing it practically.

This section will help you identify the levers you can use to ensure meaningful participation of persons with disabilities and their organisations (OPDs). This includes the four key enablers accessibility, reasonable accommodation, capacity building and awareness raising, as well as specific requirements for certain groups but also how we talk and interact with each other.

If you are a programme manager, the remarks on each stage of the project cycle management will be a helpful resource.
