Accessibility
Accessibility means ensuring that persons with disabilities are able to access their environment, transportation, information such as reading material, communication technologies and systems on an equal basis with others. Accessibility requires forward-thinking by those responsible for the delivery of private and public services to ensure that persons with disabilities can access services without barriers. Organising participation processes while respecting accessibility requirements is a pre-requisite for an inclusive participation process.
